Crosse Over taught me so many life lessons through lacrosse and gave me the chance to make friends that I still stay in touch with today.

Crosse Over is one of the most incredible experiences a lacrosse player could have. I was able to visit amazing places and meet people I will never forget. It really does create memories that last a life time.

Hosting a player from England was an amazing experience for my daughter and our entire family. Each time we hosted it was a different and equally as special experience.

Three of my five daughters have already participated in the Crosse Over Program with my youngest daughter participating in the upcoming 2022 Tour. This is an amazing cultural exchange program made possible through girls lacrosse. We have hosted five players so far and are still in touch with all of them and their families. If you are lucky enough to be nominated and accepted, don't pass on this opportunity.

Crosse Over was one of the best experiences I could ask for. I made lifelong memories and friendships. It’s been almost 3 years since I went to England, but I still talk to the girls I met there almost everyday. Playing lacrosse games in England was such an amazing opportunity. I got to play the sport that I love while learning about England and culture there. The Crosse Over program truly is "Friendship through Lacrosse" and I would not trade my two weeks in England for anything in the world.

Participating in the Crosse Over Program gave me such an amazing opportunity to step out of my box and experience something I never thought I would do at that age. I am proud to say that I have met lifelong friends who I was able to visit in Scotland and England not too long ago. Not seeing them for a few years and then getting off the plane to be greeted by them was a memory I will never forget.

I am so lucky that I was able to not only play on this team but also help coach it. The Crosse Over program changed my life for the better, and I am certain that I'm the person I am today because of this experience. Plus, I am so grateful I met Lydia and her family! I can't wait to see them all this summer when they come visit me and my family. We have been friends since I stayed with her in 2013

The opportunity for our daughter to participate in the Anne Arundel County Crosse Over Girls Lacrosse Program over two summers was simply, life changing. She was paired with another player in the Metros Lacrosse Club from Stockport, England, played a myriad of games, and most importantly, established lifelong friendships. Working with experienced coaches, staff and some of the best players, internationally, she learned the importance of lacrosse, independence, leadership, friendship and teamwork. In addition, the visits and day trips with her host family and team to other areas of the United Kingdom to include London, exposed her to art, travel, culture, and life abroad. Her host family were beyond extraordinary...perfect, in fact, as they nurtured and cared for her, satisfied her curiosity, took her on a weekend visit to Wales cliff-jumping, had the most delicious food and amazing hospitality - we couldn't have asked for a better 'home away from home' for her. Their daughter, with whom ours was paired with, was the kindest, sweetest soul with similar interests; the girls had an instant bond with one another and to this day, chat daily. This past year, we had the pleasure of hosting her and her family here in the U.S. and couldn't have asked for a more anticipated, wonderful, memorable experience. The girls were so excited to see each other, once again, play lacrosse, shop (of course), travel, and experience new things; we are truly grateful for this program, her life-long friendships, and these unforgettable moments. As you can see, Crosse Over truly embodies the spirit of "Friendship Through Lacrosse" and we would wholeheartedly encourage everyone to consider it!

I participated in the Anne Arundel County Crosse Over Program in 2022 and 2023. It was so fun playing with new teammates and learning from new coaches. But playing in Manchester, England was incredible, and I loved staying with my host family. Many of the British girls I met have remained friends with. I highly recommend this program to all Anne Arundel County female lacrosse players.

Our youngest daughter Reagan participated in the Crosse Over Program 2018-2019. It was a wonderful opportunity for our entire family; not only did our daughter make lifelong friends on both sides of the 'pond', our entire family did as well. Reagan was able to have some independence during her travel year and returned home more self confident and mature. We believe in the program and have continued to support it over the years, serving as a host family for MetroGirls adults and as Huggy Mom for the CO girls. As a HM, I've been delighted to watch dozens of other girls grow their game, self confidence and personalities through their Crosse Over experience. It truly is a fantastic opportunity for 'Friendship through Lacrosse'.
